Terms of Service

Engagement terms for commissioned forensic intelligence reports.

Effective  01 May 2026  ·  Jurisdiction  Wyoming, USA

These Terms govern the engagement between you (the Client) and Forensic Capital (the Provider), a research entity registered in the State of Wyoming, United States of America. By commissioning a report, the Client accepts these Terms in full.

01 — Service

The Provider delivers a single forensic intelligence report on one DeFi protocol specified by the Client in a scoping brief. Each report is composed from scratch from public infrastructure data: DNS, TLS certificate transparency logs, on‑chain state, BGP, regulatory filings, and equivalent public sources.

Reports are intelligence products. They are not investment advice, legal counsel, nor an audit. The Client is responsible for any decision taken on the basis of a report.

02 — Delivery

Standard delivery is forty‑eight hours from confirmation of scope. Confirmation of scope occurs after the Client returns the scoping brief and the Provider acknowledges in writing. Delivery is by email to the address provided at checkout.

03 — Refund clause

If the report is not delivered within seventy‑two hours of scope confirmation, the Client is entitled to a full refund via the original payment method. No questions asked. The refund is issued within five business days of the missed deadline.

Refunds outside this clause are not granted. The fee compensates forensic time spent on the commission, not satisfaction with conclusions.

04 — Usage and rights

The report is licensed to the Client for internal use. Internal use means use within the Client's organisation, including circulation to employees, contractors, investment committees, boards, and counsel acting for the Client.

External redistribution — public republication, resale, or licensing to third parties — is not granted under these Terms. Commercial redistribution rights are available on request, priced separately.

Quotation of short extracts in correspondence and internal memoranda, with attribution to Forensic Capital, is permitted.

05 — Revisions

One revision round is included, to be requested within seven days of delivery. The scope of the revision is limited to clarifications, additional sourcing, and corrections within the original scoping brief. New questions outside the original scope are quoted separately.

06 — Out of scope

07 — Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe. Accepted methods include card, USDC, and other rails enabled by Stripe at checkout. The fee is denominated in United States dollars. Taxes, where applicable, are the responsibility of the Client.

08 — Confidentiality

The contents of the scoping brief and any non‑public information shared by the Client during the engagement are treated as confidential. The Provider does not disclose the identity of the Client. A mutual NDA is available on request at no additional cost.

09 — Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the aggregate liability of the Provider under these Terms is limited to the fee paid by the Client for the relevant commission. The Provider is not liable for indirect, consequential, or speculative damages.

10 — Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Wyoming, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in the Client's domicile.
